1. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of Pulser, the mobile and web portal operated by Plans Global ("we", "us") through which record labels manage their catalogue, submit releases for distribution, and read their royalty statements.
They cover the portal. They do not replace your signed distribution agreement with us, which governs the commercial relationship — royalty splits, term, territory and payment. If these terms and that agreement disagree, the signed agreement wins.
By signing in to Pulser you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the portal, and contact us to close your account.
2. Who may use Pulser
Pulser is a business tool for record labels that already distribute with us. It is not a consumer service and it is not open to the public.
- There is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by Plans Global, or by a parent label for its sub-labels.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract, or be acting for a business that can.
- You must be authorised to act for the label whose account you use.
A demo mode is available without an account. It shows sample data only, is not connected to any real catalogue, and nothing done in it is saved.
3. Your account
You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Keep your password to yourself. Do not share a login between people — ask us for separate sub-label accounts instead.
- Tell us promptly at operation.plansglobal@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
- A parent label can see the catalogue, claims and royalty roll-up of the sub-labels it manages. A sub-label cannot see its parent's or any other label's data.
- Deleting an account requires signing in to that account and re-entering its password. A parent label cannot delete a sub-label's account from its own session.
4. What you upload
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your recordings, artwork, lyrics and metadata. You grant us only the licence we need to do the job: to host your files, process them, and deliver them together with their metadata and artwork to the streaming and download platforms you submit them to, for as long as the release is live.
What you promise about it
By submitting a release you confirm that:
- you own or control all rights needed to distribute it, including the recording, the composition and the artwork;
- all contributors have been credited and cleared, and any samples are licensed;
- the metadata is accurate — you are not impersonating another artist, and not claiming someone else's work;
- the content is not unlawful, and does not infringe anyone's rights.
You are responsible for what you submit. If a claim is made against a release because of a breach of the above, you are responsible for the consequences, including any amounts a platform charges back to us.
5. Review, rejection and takedown
Every release is reviewed before delivery. We may reject a release, or take down a live one, without notice where we reasonably believe it infringes a third party's rights, breaches a platform's rules, contains unlawful material, or where a platform, court or rights holder requires it.
A rejected release can be corrected and resubmitted. Where we can tell you the reason, we do — the app shows it against the release.
Takedown timing across platforms is set by those platforms and not by us. It can take several weeks to propagate.
6. Royalties and payment
Royalty rates, splits, reporting periods and payment terms are set by your signed distribution agreement, not by this page.
- Statements in the app are reported to us by the platforms. They can be restated if a platform corrects its own reporting.
- Figures shown before a statement is finalised are provisional.
- Deleting your account does not waive royalties already earned, and does not cancel amounts you owe.
7. Subscriptions and fees
Where a plan or distribution fee applies to your label, it is set in your distribution agreement, and it is billed to the business, not to an app user.
Payments for these are handled outside the app store, through our payment provider, because they are business-to-business fees for a distribution service rather than digital content purchased inside the app. The app does not sell any in-app product, subscription tier or unlockable feature to its users.
Refunds, where they apply, follow your distribution agreement.
8. Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload content you do not have the rights to, or metadata you know to be false;
- attempt to access another label's data, or to defeat the app's access controls;
- probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or automate access to it without our written permission;
- use the service to launder streams, to generate artificial plays, or for any other fraudulent activity.
We may suspend an account that breaches this section while we investigate.
9. Availability
We work to keep Pulser available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we perform maintenance that can make the portal briefly unavailable. Your catalogue and your royalty records are not affected by portal downtime.
10. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time — in the app under Settings → Delete account, or by email. The account is deactivated immediately and the data is deleted after a 14-day grace period. What is deleted and what we must keep is set out on the account deletion page.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that breaches the distribution agreement, or where we are required to.
Ending your use of the portal does not by itself end your distribution agreement, and does not automatically remove your releases from platforms. Ask for takedowns explicitly.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability arising out of the portal is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Pulser is provided "as is" as regards the portal software itself. This does not affect the obligations we owe you under your distribution agreement.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. Where a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Pulser after that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
